Disclaimer and statement of independence
What this site is, what it is not, and where we draw the line.
1. Independent third party
deepseekbase.com and dshio.org are independent third-party projects.
We are not affiliated with DeepSeek, with any government body, with any political party or organisation, or with any entity connected to the above.
We have no authorisation, approval or endorsement from DeepSeek. We say so prominently on every page, and we put DeepSeek's official links first in the footer — we point you at the official source rather than impersonating it.
2. Not subject to government direction
This site accepts no government funding, no government editorial direction and no government content-review requests.
- No government body funds us
- No government body instructs our editors
- Technical content follows verifiable facts and is not changed to suit any party's position
The one exception is legally binding requirements — absent a court order or an instrument of equivalent force, we do not delete or alter technical content because someone dislikes it.
We serve developers, not governments. Developers need an index that tells the truth, not one trimmed to a position.
3. Nature of the content
- Data sources: the public npm registry, public GitHub repositories, DeepSeek's official docs
- Test verdicts: produced by our own isolated sandbox, not official DeepSeek output
- Standards: DSHIO standards are derived from the observed behaviour of the official development kit — not an official specification
Every verdict is reproducible. Each test result records its environment fingerprint (DSH version, image digest, Node, pnpm, RAM, CPU) so anyone can re-run it under the same conditions.
4. Prices and data denominators
Prices and model specifications follow the official publications. We label the source and the retrieval date, never mix denominators, and never present an estimate as a measurement. If you find an error, tell us and we fix it.
5. What we do not do
- Impersonate the official project or trade on its name
- Collect money on behalf of plugin authors, or take a cut
- Remove a genuine test result because it is unflattering to a plugin
- Hide a plugin because it is controversial
6. Corrections
To report an error, raise an objection, or request a correction:
- GitHub: moldkey/dsh-deepseekbase
- Standards: dshio.org
We commit to answering every correction request — and if the answer is "we will not change it", we will say why.
7. Official links
These are the official entry points we provide. For anything official, use these:
